A big thank you to Mike O’Connell, Helen Minett and all the litter pickers who have kept our woods and fields looking so cared for during this period of high use. We may not have organised litter picks, but with so many individuals picking up each day our nature reserve has never looked better.

Also a big THANK YOU to our lone diggers.

Geoff Bird, thanks for digging out the mud from the side entrance on Childwall Abbey Road and making it safe.

Events.

CANCELLED WILDFLOWER PLANTING  Sunday 22nd March 2020 11 am at the Gatehouse on Childwall Abbey Road. Planting wildflowers to celebrate Mother’s Day. We will provide responsibly sourced plants to fill the fields with colour and attract Bees and Butterflies to our site. All equipment will be available just bring your own trowel and gardening gloves if you have any.  
PHOTO COMPETITION Friday 10th April 20  Ongoing throughout the summer. Finishing on 6th September. More information will be posted here nearer the time

BEE HOMES Sunday

WILDFLOWER WALK Sunday 28th June 20 3.30 pm at the Gatehouse on Childwall Abbey Road. The fields are at their best in June with the Marsh Orchids and other wildflowers in bloom. FCWF Botanist as guide.

As the AGM has had to be cancelled, the present committee members will continue in their positions until a time when an AGM can be arranged, which will be as soon as possible.
